The Troll Bridge, as it appears in Backpack!.
The Troll Bridge is a bridge where the Grumpy Old Troll lives under. Whenever Dora and Boots try to cross the bridge, The troll will jump out and sing his song telling them that they need to answer a riddle (or other challenge).
Description
The Troll Bridge is blue (and green in The Shy Rainbow) and is located above a very narrow ravine. This location has appeared in multiple episodes of Dora the Explorer. It is unknown whether there are multiple bridges that are above the narrow and small ravine, or if there is one and is on a path that several paths merge with, which would explaining why Dora and Boots cross it multiple times while going to different places. It's never been a destination before.

Trivia
- Surprise! is the first episode in airing/production order in which Dora and Boots cross the Troll Bridge, but Backpack! is chronologically their first time crossing it.
- The Shy Rainbow is the only episode where the troll bridge is blue and green rather than just blue, possibly because the producers want it to change it up a bit to fit the episode's theme (colors).
- This is similar to the way Map changes his appearance in various episodes to fit the theme of the episode (e.g. pirates in pirate episodes)
- To the Monkey Bars is the only Season 2 episode where Dora and Boots cross it.
- Not only just Dora and Boots are the ones that crossed the Troll Bridge, there are some other episodes where their friends cross the bridge with them.
- Swiper is the only one that never crosses the Troll Bridge.
- It only appeared in one double-length episode.
- The Happy Old Troll is the first episode with the Grumpy Old Troll away from the bridge, excluding his character find segments.
- In the seasons 3-6 intro, the bridge can be seen with the Grumpy Old Troll if one looks closely.
- There are similar bridges in other episodes, such as:
- In Beaches, there is a boardwalk similar to it, but it has railings and no canyon, and there is definitely no troll living under it.
- In Grandma's House, there is a similar bridge called the Bumpy Bridge, except that bridge has blue ropes instead of red ones and there is definitely no troll that lives under it.
- In Te Amo, there is also a bridge that looks similar to the Troll Bridge, except it has a railing instead of ropes and there is definitely no troll that lives under it.
- In Pablo's Flute, there is a similar bridge called the Windy Bridge, except that bridge is completely yellow, blows wind in everyone's faces, it has rocks inside its canyon, and there is definitely no troll that lives under it.
- In Lost Squeaky, there is a similar bridge called Bubble Bridge, except it is brown and has railings, and there is definitely no troll that lives under it.
- In School Pet, there is a similar bridge called Rope Bridge, except it is not blue and has red ropes, has water, crocodiles, snakes, and otters in its canyon and there is definitely no troll living under it.
- In Dora's Got a Puppy, there is a similar bridge called the Bouncy, Slippery, and Windy Bridge, except it has blue ropes, has wind blowing, has water in its canyon, and has definitely no troll living under it.
- In The Backpack Parade, there is a similar bridge called Hiccup Bridge, except it is purple and has yellow shapes on it, has a river in its canyon, and there is definitely no troll that lives under it.
- In School Science Fair, there is a similar bridge called Magnet Bridge, except it is metallic gray and has gray ropes, has toys, bricks, and pieces of wood under its canyon, and there is definitely no troll living under it.
